ECT Programme

At Oaks Park High School we recognise the energy, creativity and fresh perspective  that Early Career Teachers bring to our school. We fully acknowledge that this is a very rewarding role to undertake albeit, a challenging one.

We have opted to design and deliver our own in-house Early Career Framework (ECF) based induction to provide the contact specific development that we consider to be essential to early career teachers.

This context based development, within school has facilitated early career teachers in becoming effective practitioners. In turn the Oaks Park retention rate for these early career teachers is high and many have gone on to be TLR post holders within school.

We have chosen to capitalise on this body of knowledge and experience within Oaks Park to develop and deliver a school designed programme that we firmly believe will be the best possible offer for early career teachers starting their career at Oaks Park.
