GCSE Geography Trip: Norfolk July 2022
After a two year break, Y10 geographers were once again able to travel to Norfolk for their GCSE residential fieldwork trip. Over two trips, 180 students investigated how Norwich city has changed over time before heading to the University of East Anglia. Students then had tours of the university by the student ambassadors visiting the robotics labs as well as the Art School. This is also where the Avengers was filmed! Students were able to ask questions about student life and higher education before spending the night in the university halls.
The weather was on our side for our second day where we traveled to Cromer to investigate the impact of erosion of the beach. After fish and chips it was time to head back to London on the train.
All students were brilliant ambassadors to the school and the Geography department are delighted to be able to run residential tips again. Thank you to all the staff involved for making the trip so successful.
