The Governing Body of Oaks Park wish to appoint a highly experienced and effective senior leader to the role of Deputy Headteacher to support and assist the Headteacher, Governing Body and the wider community by providing professional leadership, vision and strategic direction to promote and secure the best outcomes for our students.  

 

A key responsibility of the role is leading on the quality of teaching and learning to promote student progress as the key focus for our teachers.  This would involve the accurate auditing of standards, use of research to identify and share best practice pedagogy while seeking effective workload solutions to promote staff wellbeing and development.  The candidate brochure contains further details about the role, person specification and how to apply.

Cognition & Learning LEAD

Grade: Scale LBR5 Point 22-25

30 hours per week, term time only

We are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant who would like to develop their ability, expertise or potential in supporting/managing support for students with cognition and learning difficulties.

 

The Lead Teaching Assistant will be expected to oversee:

  • Teaching Assistants within your team in order to provide appropriate support for students.
  • The organisation of student record keeping in TA Record Folders and ensure they are kept up to date and arranged appropriately.
  • Some of the work carried out by Outside Agencies
  • Interim review meetings for students with EHCP`s and at School support within your team.

 

Assist with drafting and producing of One Page Profiles and assist with Annual Review procedures.
